Version 1.0.5.1 – Recursion Level 0 Added

April 7th, 2009

We have released version 1.0.5.1 with a new feature and a few minor bug fixes.

Many of our users have asked for the ability to not expand the seed keywords, but rather just retrieve the data for them.  This is most useful if you already have a keyword list that you just want to get the statistics for.

This version now gives you that option.

If you just want to retrieve the stats for a keyword list and not have that list be expanded by the Google Keyword Tool, simply select Recursion Level 0 when you create your project.

This will prevent the expansion of the seed with synonyms and only retrieve the stats for the keywords you enter into the seed textbox.

This version also addressed an issue that a few people were having with the AllInTitle search.

Best Wishes,

Jon

New Features Released in Version 1.0.4.4 – Proxy Country Filter & Domain Availability for Keywords

February 25th, 2009

We added two new features in the newest released version 1.0.4.4 that will be great timesavers.

Feature 1 – Domain Name Availability for Selected Keywords

Now, if you are viewing your keyword results in the grid and you want to know which keywords might be available as domain names, all you have to do is select the keywords, right click and choose “Check Domain Name Availability”.

Then a new tab will open showing you the availability results of all the keywords you selected for .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .us, and .mobi extensions.

This is a HUGE timesaver if you are wanting to find a good domain name that gets a lot of search volume.

Feature 2 – Proxy Country Filtering

This feature works when you are creating a project.  You can now select the countries that you want to make sure the proxy servers you use are located in.

The reason for this is because for certain statistics Google returns different values based on the location of the ip address of the request. If you are using proxy servers that are located outside of the area you are interested in the results for, then your data will not be accurate.

By selecting the country or countries to filter the proxies, you will be guaranteed to get data you are interested in.

Of course, this filter only applies to the proxies you have selected to use in your project.
